Look upon as a team leader.

JUNIOR (2003): Appeared in 53 of the Bucs 54 games starting 51 of them ... In 180 at-bats compiled a .294 batting average, scored 50 runs, and recorded 34 RBI’s ... Led the team in homeruns with 7 ... Also stole 8 bases in 9 attempts ... Defensively recorded 159 putouts while recording 7 errors.

SOPHOMORE [Louisville] (2002): Transfer from the University of Louisville where he posted a .290 batting average with 5 homeruns and 20 RBI in 80 plate appearances ... Hit two grand slams.

FRESHMAN [Louisville] (2001): Saw time in 41 games at first, DH and behind the plate as a true freshman, starting 26 ... Blasted a pinch-hit home run in the ninth inning of the conference opening win over Cincinnati(3/16) ... Capped the season with a 3 for 5 effort at home against Tulane(5/13), driving in four on two home runs while scoring two runs ... Did not commit an error in the field in 79 chances.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned two varsity letters in baseball under coach Tom Duffin at Monsignor Edward Pace High in Miami ... Senior season batted .430 with 10 homeruns and 33 RBI ... Earned All-Dade County ... Played two seasons at Westminster Christian ... Hit .520 as a sophomore

PERSONAL: Son of Carlos and Catherine de le Osa ... Has two sisters and three brothers ... Majoring in accounting.
