JUNIOR (2005): Played in 40 games with 34 starts behind the plate or as the designtated hitter ... Batted .252 with 29 hits in 115 at bats ... Registered 24 runs scored and 17 walks ... Belted 11 doubles, one triple, and six home runs ... Swiped two bases in two attempts ... Tied for second on the squad with three sacrifice flies ... Boasted a .983 fielding percentage with 207 putouts , 19 assists, and four errors.

SOPHOMORE (2004): Played in 38 games making 34 starts at catcher and first base ... Batted .280 with six home runs and 24 RBI ... Threw out nearly 50 percent of attempted base stealers catching 14 of 30 attempts.

FRESHMAN (2003): Played in 29 games starting 20 ... Batted .231 in 78 bats while hitting three home runs and driving in 16 ... Also had 7 doubles and a slugging percentage of .436 ... Recorded 142 putouts and just five errors for a fielding percentage of .968.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year varsity letterman at Plantation High under coach John Thomas ... For his career at Plantation posted a .417 batting average and was named Male Student-Athlete of the Year as a senior.

PERSONAL: Son of Edward and Judith Corbeil ... Has one brother and one sister ... Majoring in criminology.
