MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – Barry University’s baseball team will host their annual Scout Day Wednesday, Oct. 3 at Feinbloom Field to showcase the draft eligible players on the Buccaneer roster to many Major League scouts.

The workout will consist of a 60 yard dash, an infield-outfield fielding session, on field batting practice, pitcher’s bullpens and a shortened scrimmage. This is a great opportunity for draft eligible juniors and seniors to showcase their talents in front of approximately 20 scouts.

The Buccaneers have had 14 players selected in the MLB, including consensus All-American Dean Green and Manny Rodriguez in 2011.

Rodriguez became the highest Buccaneer drafted after he was selected by the Washington Nationals in the 10th round.
