Team Black rallies from two games down to capture series

MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – Team Black finished an impressive comeback with a 4-3 victory in the decisive game five of the Red-Black Series Monday night, after trailing 2-0 before reeling off three straight wins.

Capitalizing on Team Red mistakes, Team Black jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the first inning after a two-out walk followed by a two-base error.

Trailing 3-1, Team Black answered with its own three-run outburst in the bottom of the 5th. Team Black seized the opportunity as Sheehan Planas belted a bases-clearing double to regain the lead.

Right-hander Tyler Petsch was called upon to close out the game, and Petsch delivered in dominating fashion. In the final three innings, Petsch struck out six and picked up the save in route to a 4-3 win.
