Recorded season-high four innings twice in 2007, both against the University of Miami. Fall Dean’s list during the 2007 season ... Member of the 2006-07 Sun Belt Academic Honor Roll maintaining a 3.0 GPA.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played four years for Israel Camacho at Coral Gables High. 6A-5A Third-Team All-Dade selection as a senior.
PERSONAL: Son of Jorge and Diana Santana. Has an older brother, Jason, and two younger sisters, Corey and Madison. Brother Jason plays baseball at the University of Miami.
