BRAD AT A GLANCE: Brad returns after being sidelined last season.  Brad brings a wealth of experience as a college pitcher and will contribute most likely as both a starter and a reliever.  Early in the season, Brad will work his way back into form.  His ability to locate the fastball sets him apart and if he can continue to do this he will be an impact arm. 

JUNIOR (2012): Appeared in 12 games for the Bucs including 11 starts…Tied for the team lead with five wins, compiling a 5-2 overall record…Allowed just 28 earned runs in 67 innings of work while striking out 39 batters, good for third on the squad… Named to the Athletic Director’s List (3.2-3.499 GPA) during both semesters.

JUNIOR (2011): After making one start, sat out the remainder of 2011 due to injury.

SOPHOMORE (2010): Tied for the team lead in starts with nine and wins with six… Lead the team in innings pitched at 67 and strikeout to walk ratio with six strikeouts to every walk… Ranked second on the squad in ERA at 4.70 in 15 appearances… Surrendered an opponent batting average of only .298… Posted a 6-4 record… Earned 88 ground outs last season, ranking him 6th in Barry history… Posted a 1.21 average of walks per nine inning game in 2010… Ranks 1st and 2nd in the Barry record books for fewest walks allowed per nine inning game… Tied for 9th in school history for most wins with 15… Pitched for the Morehead City Marlins in the Coastal Plains League over the summer… Amasses a 7-1 record on nine starts and a 2.01 ERA in 62.2 innings pitched… Gave up 14 earned runs and walked only 12 with 51 strikeouts.

FRESHMAN (2009): Appeared in 13 games for the Bucs with 12 starts ... Earned a 9-1 record with a 3.98 ERA ... Threw in 72.1 innings ... Earned one shutout ... Earned All-SSC Second-Team honors ... Ranked fifth in the nation and set a school record with just 0.75 walks per nine innings, issuing just six free passes.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for Lynn Barber at Boca Ciega High ... Three-year letterman in baseball and one-year in golf ... Pitched 44 innings during senior season, recording 65 strikeouts ... With the bat, finished with a .429 batting average, three home runs, 12 doubles, 20 runs, 22 RBI and five stolen bases ... Finished with a career record of 12-5, with a 1.95 ERA. Offensive Player of the Year award, Team Most Valuable Player and All-Conference.
