Albert Destrade enters his first season with the Buccaneers and will be responsible for working with outfielders and hitters.

Destrade, a Miami native, managed the Fulton Railroaders, defending champions of the Ohio Valley League, during the summer of 2012.

After serving one season as an assistant in 2009, Destrade served as Head Varsity Baseball Coach for Plantation Senior High School from 2010-12. For the first time in 20 years, Destrade led the Colonels to post season District 16-7A semifinal in back-to-back seasons.

Other head coaching experience includes one season as the Plantation Senior H.S. Junior Varsity in 2008-09, as well as summer travel team programs with the “954” Crusaders and the South Florida Breakers.

After attending Lynn University from 2004-06 where he played outfield for the Fighting Knights, Destrade went on to receive his Bachelor of Science in Communications from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2007.

Destrade is currently a member of the American Baseball Coaches Association as well as the Coaches Advisory Committee for “Baseball 954 Magazine”.
