Barry University men’s basketball team will play at Tampa Saturday at 4 p.m.

The game can be seen on the Tampa Spartans Network or followed via LIVE STATS. The men's game will follow the women's game, which can also been seen on TampaSpartans.TV at 2 p.m.

Coming off a thrilling overtime win over Florida Tech Wednesday – the Buccaneers fourth straight victory – Barry (14-3, 5-3 Sunshine State Conference) doesn’t have any room for rest to start the second half of conference play. Tampa (11-6, 4-4) lost to the Bucs in Miami Shores, 73-71, on Dec. 7, but the Spartans were without leading scorer Da’Markco Foster.

Tampa has lost its past two, but one of those was an 87-83 double-overtime setback to league leader Florida Southern on the road. Prior to the two-game funk, the Spartans had won six of seven.

Foster is scoring 16.6 points per game. Jordan Davis, who had 17 points and 10 assists against the Bucs in the first meeting, is averaging 11.6 points, 7.1 assists and 5.7 rebounds. Eric Moraes is averaging 11.4 points and 7.6 rebounds.

The Buccaneers are coming off a game in which they attempted 90 field goals, which ranks second in school history. Barry put up a school record 96 shots in a 105-103 double overtime win over Central Oklahoma on Dec. 1, 2000.

Bucs point guard Deric Hills eight assists Wednesday moved him into ninth place among school single-season assists leaders. He has 121 entering Saturday’s game.
