MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Barry University men's basketball team will hold its annual alumni game Friday, Feb. 15 at Health & Sports Center.
The Buccaneers alumni will compete in the Red and Black game of former players on Friday, and are invited to remain in town for Saturday's 7:30 p.m. game against Eckerd College the next day. Over 75 former players have been invited to men's basketball alumni weekend.
"We had a huge turnout last year, and I would like to repeat that," said Barry assistant coach Ryan Saunders, an alumnus himself. "It is definitely nice when the alumni support us, and it helps us out tremendously."
Barry has five home games remaining, beginning with Saturday's 2 p.m. matinee against Tampa. The Buccaneers will also host Florida Southern at 7:30 p.m. Wed., Feb. 6, Palm Beach Atlantic at 7:30 p.m. Wed., Feb. 20 and Nova Southeastern in the regular season finale at 5:30 p.m. Sat., Mar. 2.
