Samara de Frietas recorded a career-high 33 kills, the fifth-most ever by a Barry player, in the Bucs’ five-game win over Nova Southeastern. For the three matches on the week, she averaged 4.85 kills per game and hit .443. She was named Sunshine State Conference co-Offensive Player of the Week. She led the Bucs to their 13th straight NCAA Tournament bid and was named first-team Daktronics All-South Region.
Nick Gillaspy led the Buccaneer squad at the Rollins College Invitational, finishing the tournament tied for eighth out of 68 individuals with a three-round one-over-par 217 (72-72-73) score.
