Amanda Goelz led Barry in nearly every offensive category this week while the Bucs posted a 3-1 record at the Barry/Nova Invitational. She recorded three multiple-hit games finishing the week with a .538 average (7 of 13), a 1.077 slugging percentage, with two doubles, a triple, a home run, two RBI and a .571 on-base percentage. Against West Florida, she accounted for two of the Bucs three hits going 2-for-3 with a solo home run that accounted for the winning score to hand the Argonauts their first loss of the season.
Felipe Barrios led Barry to a 2-0 week averaging 18.0 points and 9 rebounds per game. The senior forward went 5-for-8 from the field for 15 points against Florida Tech and recorded 9 rebounds in 21 minutes. He closed out the week and helped Barry claim the top ranking in the SSC scoring a season-high 21 points in Barry's 73-71 win over Saint Leo. He finished the week shooting 61.1 percent (11 of 18) from the floor, while averaging 2 assists and one steal per game.
