Amber Jack led the Bucs to a 3-1 start to the season, picking up three wins in relief against #12 Alabama-Huntsville and Tampa. She hurled 3.2 innings of two-hit shutout softball against the Chargers, striking out five as the Bucs salvaged a split. Against Tampa, she won both ends of the doubleheader, allowing just two hits and a walk over 8.0 innings, striking out six and not allowing a run.
