Manny Rodriguez tossed one of the best games in school history on Friday against Florida Tech. After hitting the first two batters of the game, he fanned the next three to end the inning. He also struck out the side in the fifth and punched out at least one every inning except the ninth. After all was said and done, Rodriguez had struck out 16, breaking the Barry record for strikeouts in a game set by Jayson Brown Apr. 2, 2006 against Palm Beach Atlantic. The Florida Tech offense was only able to muster two hits and two walks against the Barry ace, leaving him with a school-record game score of 97.
