From the leadoff spot in the lineup, Dwelly posted a .643 on base percentage and slugged a remarkable 1.250 as the Bucs went 3-0 on the week. He posted 8 RBI for the week, including six with a wood bat against Chestnut Hill on Sunday. Against the Phoenix, the senior also belted two home runs with the wood while adding four put outs and no errors. Dwelly added seven runs on the week for Barry and posted 15 total bases.

Brianna Smith won all five games in which she threw, including four complete games, two shutouts and a no-hitter (the 3rd of her career). Threw just 80 pitches to no-hit Mercyhurst on Monday, beating the Lakers 1-0. In the nightcap against the Lakers, she came into the game after MC had taken a 5-4 lead and pitched out of the jam, then delivered the game-winning single in the bottom of the seventh. She tossed a 10-inning shutout past Florida Tech in the SSC opener, her third straight shutout, pushing her scoreless inning streak to 24 innings. She also threw complete games in the series closer and against North Alabama in the Wolves Invitational.
