Angelique Ceccon led the women's varsity 8 shell to a gold medal at the Southern Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships last week. She stroked the shell which delivered a time of 7:03.3, finishing 3.2 seconds ahead of second-place Grand Valley State.

Hernan Borja finished fourth out of 45 individuals to earned All-tournament honors and paced the Barry University men’s golf team to a fifth-place at the Sunshine State Conference Golf Tournament hosted at Lake Jovita Country Club. Borja fired two even round 75 scores in the opening rounds and closed out the tournament with a two-over-par 74. He finished the tournament with a three-round 224 and in fourth place.
