Ramie Garcia led the Bucs to a 3-2 week, hurling complete-game victories over Florida Gulf Coast and Saint Leo in two starts. She also added two relief appearances, totaling 28.0 innings, and went 2-0. She compiled a 0.50 ERA and 30 strikeouts, earning Sunshine State Conference Pitcher of the Week.

Victor Billskoog, named the Sunshine State Conference Freshman of the Year, burst onto the scene as one of the Buccaneers’ top golfers as a rookie. He posted a 74.23 strokes per round average with his lowest round, five-under-par 67, coming at the Buccaneer Invitational on Mar. 6. He collected a tournament win at the AASU/Southbridge Invitational out of the 64-person field, just the second Buccaneer to win an individual medal.
