Lanie Muys averaged 1.4 blocks per set as the Buccaneers split a pair of SSC matches. In a three-set sweep versus Nova Southeastern, Muys posted 10 kills and five blocks to help hold the Sharks to a .087 team hitting percentage. She also gathered a pair of digs in the contest. Muys also tallied eight kills and five blocks in a four-set loss to Florida Tech. Her efforts at the net helped hold Barry’s conference foes to a .165 hitting percentage.
Mark Anderson scored four goals, for the second time this season, and added his first assist as the Bucs split a pair of games last week. Against St. Thomas, he scored four goals, including a natural hat-trick in the first half, in a 4-1 Barry win. He assisted Glen Thomas on his goal in Barry's 2-1 loss at Rollins on Saturday.
