Barry University's Varsity 8+ crew (led by stroke Kristina Boncheva) rowed to a second place finish in the three-team Mix of Miami race at Shane Rowing Center on the intracostal Saturday. Barry completed the 4.5-kilometer course in 15:36.45, finishing behind the University of Miami, which posted a 15:20.74. Nova Southeastern was third in 16:15.66.

Ollie LeMaitre reached the semi-finals of the Nunez Tournament with win over teammate Kevin Sielmann in the quarterfinals and Andres Alfonzo in the first round.
