Jose Paez
Sport Information Graduate Assistant
Jose Paez begins his first year as the graduate assistant in sports information. As the GA, Jose assists with all writing, designing, and editing of all athletic publications, and serves as the main contact for men’s soccer and baseball.
Jose received his Bachelor of Arts in, Sport Management from Siena Heights University in Adrian, Michigan in May 2011.
Jose attended Concordia University in Ann Arbor, Michigan from 2006-2008 where he played baseball for two years before transferring to Siena Heights University in Adrian, Michigan. Jose played four years of college baseball at the NAIA level in the Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference. He was a two year starter at Siena Heights, playing primarily at second base.
While finishing his degree at Siena Heights, Jose served as an intern at Barry during the summer of 2010 and the spring in 2011. As an intern, Jose worked on various tasks within the Athletic Department including marketing and promotions, facility and event management, as well assisting the sports information department.
Jose is currently enrolled in the dual MS/MBA program at Barry. A native of San Juan, Puerto Rico; Jose currently resides in Brickell.
