WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Barry University freshmen Mario Beltran and Eirik Groenhaug are tied for first, and their No. 1-ranked Buccaneer team is second, four strokes behind leader Rollins after one round of the Guy Harvey Invitational hosted by Nova Southeastern.

Beltran and Groenhaug each shot 2-under 70 in the opening round of the 90-player, 16-team tournament at PGA National Golf Club. They find themselves in a four-way tie at the top of the leaderboard after rain cut short Monday's play to one completed round. Groenhaug is competing as an individual in the tournament.

The Bucs, who won their season-opening tournament in Indianapolis, shot 2-over 290. Nova is a stroke behind Barry. Florida Southern and Missouri-St. Louis are tied for fourth at 293.

Second round continues at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday in the 54-hole scheduled tournament.

Barry sophomore Adam Svensson is in a six-way tie for 10th after shooting par on the 7,050-yard Fazio Course. Senior Jared Dalga shot 1-over 73, and is tied for 16th. Senior Marcelo Huarte is tied for 44th, following his first-round 75. Junior Berry Jole shot 6-over 78, and is tied for 67th.
