NEW YORK -- Barry University women's golf team is ranked No. 3 in the Golf World/Women's Golf Coaches Association NCAA Division II national poll released Wednesday. 

The Buccaneers received two first-place votes and 455 points. Lynn remained No. 1 with 18 first-place votes and 516 points. Rollins, who like Barry and Lynn compete in the Sunshine State Conference, are second with 455 points. Fellow SSC member Florida Tech is fourth after collecting 397 points, and St. Edward's, an Austin, Texas-based institution, is fifth after earning 369 points.

Six SSC schools are ranked in the top nine in the country, and seven are among the top 12. 

The Buccaneers will compete in the Saint Leo Invitational Monday and Tuesday in Dade City, Fla., at Lake Jovita Country Club.
