NEW YORK -- Barry University women's golf team is ranked No. 2 in the NCAA Division II Golf World/Women's Golf Coaches Association national poll.

The Buccaneers jumped one spot in the final fall poll. Barry received 455 points. Lynn is the top-ranked team with 21 first-place votes and 549 points. Tarleton State is third with 429 points. Florida Tech and St. Edward's round out the top five.

Barry, which won two of its four fall tournaments, will open the spring season Feb. 1-2 at the Tusculum Women's Intercollegiate. The Buccaneers will host the Lady Bucs Invitational March 17-18 at Don Shula's Resort in Miami Lakes.
