MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Barry University men's basketball coach Butch Estes will host two summer camps at the school's Health & Sports Center, beginning July 7.
Open to kids ages 5-16, the Butch Estes Rising Stars Basketball Camp first session runs July 7-11. The second session runs July 14-18. Both camps are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day.
Estes guided the Buccaneers to a 19-9 record and trip to the NCAA Tournament in his first year at Barry in 2013-14. In his 31-year career, he has also served as head coach at Furman University, Presbyterian College, Guilford College (N.C.), Palm Beach State College, Miami Dade College and Shoreline Community College (Wash.). He has been an assistant coach at the University of Miami, Rice University, East Carolina, The Citadel and Seattle University.
