DENVER -- Barry University’s Ivana Didanovic was selected as the American Volleyball Scouting Report National Player of the Week.

Didanovic, a 6-foot-3 sophomore middle blocker from Belgrade, Serbia, hit .543 with 20 kills as the Buccaneers won two road matches to open the second half of the Sunshine State Conference season. Didanovic hit a season-high .632 with 12 kills and no errors in a sweep at Rollins. She also had three blocks in the win over the Tars.

A day later, Didanovic had eight kills and one error, while putting together a .438 attack rate as the Bucs beat Eckerd to improve to 15-8 overall, 5-5 in the SSC. She also had 11 digs and three setting assists in the two wins.

Didanovic is hitting a team-high .307 this year, and leads the Buccaneers with 77 blocks, which ranks second in the SSC.
