Was named to the NJCAA All-America team both seasons, earning third-team honors as a freshman and second-team honors as a sophomore ... As a sophomore, helped Broward to a 23-8 record and a #7 ranking in the state of Florida ... Averaged 24.1 points on 64.8 percent shooting from the floor during his sophomore year ... Also averaged 7.0 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 4.5 steals per game ... Was second in the nation in scoring (27.7 ppg) as a freshman, when he shot 63.2 percent from the floor ... Also averaged 6.7 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 2.1 steals per game during his freshman year ... A two-time All-Southern Conference selection. 

HIGH SCHOOL & CLUB: Played varsity basketball at William Cullen Bryant High in New York under coach John Demas, where he scored over 1,000 points in only two years ... Nominated for McDonald's All-America game ... Named 2nd-Team All-Queens ... Named the team's most valuable player and earned the Bryant award for best overall athlete ... Averaged 21.8 points, nine rebounds and three assists as a senior ... Also played volleyball for the Lions.
