MELBOURNE, Fla. -- Barry University's volleyball team beat Florida Tech, 25-15, 25-20, 25-27, 25-14, Tuesday.

It was the Buccaneers' third straight road win, and it came on a night Barry improved to 11-14 overall, 4-9 in the Sunshine State Conference. The Buccaneers will play at Eckerd Friday before closing the regular season at home Nov. 22-23 against Florida Southern and Saint Leo, respectively.

Ivana Didanovic had 11 kills, hit .450, ripped off five aces and had six blocks in a dynamite performance for Barry, which hit .333 in the final set.

The Bucs, who hit .213 overall, fired off 14 aces. Jasmine Serna also had five aces, and finished with a team-best 20 digs.

Barry's Laine Cielena and Ashley Carrero each pounded nine kills, while Tashalyn Begon had eight. Carrero had 11 digs and two blocks, and Cielena hit .261 and had three blocks. Begon had three blocks, hit .259 and scooped up six digs.

Jenny Trinidad, Barry's freshman setter from Puerto Rico, finished with 32 assists and 10 digs. Jayla Trombley had 15 digs, six kills, six assists and three blocks.

Barry committed no more than four attack errors in three of the four sets. The Buccaneers outblocked the Panthers, 9-6.

Florida Tech (15-12, 5-8) was held to an .074 attack rate. Kaitlin Brennan had 13 kills, while hitting .269. The Panthers committed 32 hitting errors.Barry finished with 17.
