PRINCETON, N.J. -- Barry University's rowing team is ranked third in the USRowing/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association NCAA Division II national poll released Wednesday.

The Buccaneers earned 132 points. Nova Southeastern remained No. 1, and Western Washington is No. 2. The Sharks received all five first-place votes.

Three Sunshine State Conference crews are ranked in this week's poll. Florida Tech, which was not ranked in the previous poll, is No. 8.

Barry will compete in the SSC Championships April 25 at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Fla.
