Rowing NCAA Championships Field Announced

INDIANAPOLIS -- Barry University will field both a 4 and 8 at the NCAA Division II Rowing National Championships May 31-June 2 at Eagle Creek Park.

This marks the first time in four years the Bucs will field both boats at the national regatta.

The Buccaneers, ranked No. 1 in the nation in the USRowing/College Rowing Coaches Association poll, will race against the University of California-San Diego and Central Oklahoma in the first 8 heat. Mercyhurst, Nova Southeastern and Western Washington will race in the second heat.

In the 4, Barry is pitted against Nova in one heat, while Mercyhurst and Western Washington race in the other.

UC San Diego and Central Oklahoma are at-large 8 selections, and will not compete for the team title.
