The Buccaneers duo went 21-3 with a 7-2 record against nationally-ranked opponents. Both finished the season with 23-3 doubles records, each having played two matches with different partners.

Mokrzycki and Groetsch beat then-No. 1 Daniel Regan and Georgi Rumenov of Armstrong Atlantic, 9-8 (7-1), to help Barry win the NCAA Division II National Championship. It was the second time the Bucs' tandem beat the Pirates pair during the season.

Mokrzycki broke the school's career doubles victory record in the national championship match. He stands atop Barry's career list with 79 doubles wins.
