Men's Basketball Adds NC State Transfer
Barry University men's basketball signed North Carolina State transfer Jevoni Robinson, a 6-foot-8 post player.

MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – Barry University men’s basketball team signed North Carolina State transfer Jevoni Robinson.

Robinson, a 6-foot-8, 225-pound forward who appeared in five games with the Wolfpack as a junior last year, finished his undergrad studies in finance with a 3.7 grade point average at North Carolina Central. In 2012-13, he played in 12 games after joining the Wolfpack as a walk-on.

Robinson played parts of two seasons at Charlotte Independence High School after beginning his prep career at Bridgeport High in Jamaica.

Robinson fills a void at the power forward/center spot for the Buccaneers, who are coming off a 19-win season that ended in the NCAA Tournament. He is the fifth NCAA Division I transfer at Barry in the last two years.

Robinson joins junior guard Anders Haas, a transfer from Albany, and freshman Hunter Osceola, who played for Class 5A state champion American Heritage High last year, in this year’s recruiting class.
