MELBOURNE, Fla. – Rayah Seckler of Barry University was named Sunshine State Conference Offensive Player of the Week.  Seckler was selected SSC Player of the Week from a pool of nominees for their performances during the week of October 13 - 19.

Seckler tallied six points across two Barry victories. She scored twice in the first 25 minutes against Palm Beach Atlantic as the Buccaneers won 3-0. At #23 Saint Leo, Seckler scored in the 95th minute to earn the 2-1 overtime victory over the Lions.

Seckler is now tied with Lauren Manna and Lavinia Nkomo for the team lead with four goals on the season.

With six straight wins on the season, Barry is now 5-0-0 in SSC play, 9-1-1 overall. The Bucs take on Florida Tech at Rick Stottler Field on Wednesday and return home to face Florida Southern on Saturday.
