MIAMI -- Barry University women's golf team spent over five hours Saturday at Marlins Park, volunteering for the Alzheimer's Association.

The Buccaneers, who are ranked No. 3 in the nation, lent their time in the community service-related event by handing out bags to participants at the Health Net Medical Care Consortium Inc. tent, while also taking part in the aerobics, dancing and run/walk activities.

"You get to help different people," sophomore golfer Nicky Ferre said. "It's not always about golf. We helped others, and we worked as a team all day."
