MIAMI SHORES, Fla.—The Barry Buccaneers got clawed 75-58 by the 16th-ranked Florida Tech Panthers in the Health & Sports Center on Wednesday.
The Panthers (14-0, 4-0 SSC) jumped out to a 7-2 lead in the first two minutes and never trailed. Tech led 33-25 at the half and by as many as 27 in the second half, but the Buccaneers (9-6, 1-3 SSC) staged a comeback.
Antonia Neibler led the Bucs with 15 points off the bench, while Amra Elezovic also came in to score 13. Kayk Wilson led the Panthers with 25 points. Jasmire Brown had 13 and Shequana Brown added 12.
The Bucs host the Nova Southeastern Sharks on Saturday, Jan. 17 at 2:00 pm.
