Chad Bishop led Barry with 17 points, Uli de la Vega had 13, while Martin Leibovich and Gabe Lazo each had 11. Willie Whitfield contributed a double-double, 10 points and 10 rebounds, off the bench.

The Bucs trailed 36-28 at the half, but opened the second period with a 14-0 run to take a 42-36 lead on Lazo’s jumper in the lane. Barry stretched the lead to eight points, 54-46, on a three-point play by Whitfield at the 11:35 mark.

But the Tars made an 18-6 run, taking a 64-60 lead at the 3:31 mark on a jumper by Nick Wolf. Leibovich and de la Vega hit layups in the final 1:28 to send the game to overtime.
