Men's Soccer Ends in a Draw with Florida Tech

MELBOURNE, Fla.—The Barry University men’s soccer team moved to 10-4-1, and 2-4-1 in the SSC after a match with Florida Tech ended in a draw on Wednesday night.

The Buccaneers came close early in the second period when Mark Anderson took a shot at 57:02; the ball was cleared by the Panthers in a defensive skirmish.

The game went to double overtime, but neither team was able to put a goal on the board.

For Florida Tech (5-9-1, 1-4-1 SSC), goalie Cory Collins had five saves, while the Panther defense faced 13 shots all night. Devala Gorrick had six saves and moves to 10-4-1 on the season.

The Buccaneers return to action on Saturday, Oct 25 at 7:00 pm at Flagler.
