WINTER PARK, Fla.—The Barry Buccaneers fell 58-41 to the Rollins Tars in Sunshine State Conference women’s basketball action in the Warden Arena on Saturday.
The Bucs (13-5, 4-3 SSC) trailed 41-33 after a pair of Lucy Martinez free throws at 11:07 of the second half. But the Tars (16-1, 6-1 SSC) went on a 10-0 run over the next five minutes to pull away.
Kristy Singletary had 14 points to lead the Buccaneers, while Ines Tuema led Rollins with 19 points.
The Bucs return home on Wednesday, Jan. 28 to host the Florida Tech Panthers.
