MIAMI SHORES, Fla.—The Barry University women’s basketball team dropped an 84-47 decision to the Eckerd College Tritons in the Health & Sports Center on Wednesday night.
The Tritons hit eight of nine from three-point range in the first half, building a 45-20 advantage at the break. They extended the lead to as many as 42 in the second half before settling for the 37-point win.
Katie Rausberg led five Tritons in double figures with 17 points. Kristy Singletary led the Bucs with eight.
The Bucs (14-7, 5-5 SSC) travel to Lakeland, Fla., to face the Florida Southern Moccasins on Saturday, Feb. 7.
