MIAMI SHORES, Fla.— The Barry University women’s tennis team lost their third match of the season on Monday, falling to Division I Temple 6-3.
In doubles action, the Bucs picked up the number two spot when Lamie Contreras and Caroline Wendling beat Christine Clermont and Anastasiia Rukavyshnykova 8-3.
In singles action, the Bucs picked up the top two spots with wins by Angie Werschel and Yulia Kashelkina. Werschel beat Elyse Steiner 6-3, 3-6, 15-13 in the number one spot while Kashelkina beat Theresa Strangl 7-5, 6-3 in the second spot.
The Bucs return to action on Tuesday against Division I Buffalo at 2 pm.
