JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Barry University women's golf team concluded the JMU Invite Tuesday with a 13th place finish out of 15 teams.

The Bucs 938 (319-308-311) fired their second-best round of the invite on Tuesday, but couldn't make a dent on the teams ahead of them.

Chattanooga held on to win the invite going away with an 866, 13-strokes ahead of East Carolina University.

Anna Haglind remained the front-runner for Barry, as she finished with a 229 (78-74-77) to finish in a tie for 31st.

Johanna Soderstrom 234 (78-78-78) shot 78 every round which sloted her in a tie for 52nd.

Isadora Stapff had the best final round of the group, as she carted a 75 to finish the invite with a 237 (86-76-75) to place her in a tie for 61st. Lizzi Over finished in 67th after shooting a 243 (81-80-82) and Cristina Coll 247 (82-84-81) finished in a tie for 72nd.

The Bucs will be back in action on Monday, Mar. 30 when they will host the first-annual Buccaneer Invite at Shula's Golf Course.

Bucs in 12th After Two Rounds

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Playing against several Division I opponents, the Barry University women’s golf team is currently 12th out of 15 teams after two rounds of the James Madison University Eagle Landing Invite at the Eaglebrooke Golf Course.

The Bucs improved greatly on the second round, after firing a 319 in the first round, Barry trimmed 11-strokes off their score in the second round to shot a 308 and cart a two round total of 627 into today’s final round.

Chattanooga leads the way with a 583, six-strokes ahead of Kennesaw State University.

Anna Haglind 152 (78-74) paced the Bucs as she is in a tie for 21st.

Johanna Soderstrom currently sits in a tie for 47th after staying consistent shooting a 78 both rounds for a 156.

Lizzi Over 161 (81-80) in a tie for 59th, Isadora Stapff 162 (86-76) tied for 62nd and Cristina Coll 166 (82-84) is currently in a tie for 73rd.

The Bucs will conclude the JMU Eagle Landing Invite today.
