DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.— The Barry University men’s tennis team rebounded from Friday’s tough loss to Armstrong-Atlantic by beating Embry Riddle 8-1 on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Eagles (8-2) only point came in number one doubles where Jan Hoekzema and Carlos Bes-Comeras beat Max Wimmer and Emanual Fraitzl 8-6.
 
Barry swept the remaining matches including Ales Svigelj’s and Andrew Sharnov’s 8-6 win over Adrian Bayh and Charlie Rice in number two doubles, and a 8-3 win in number three doubles by Roman Werschel and Sergio Velez.
 
In singles action, Svigelj, Fraitzl, Sharnov, Wimmer, Werschel, and Jakub Fejfar won in one through six respectively.
 
The Bucs return to action on Sunday against Flagler at 10 am.
