In the first game, the Bucs (27-16, 11-7 SSC) battered two Knight pitchers for 11 runs and 18 hits, both season highs. Amber Durkin, Brittany Anderson and Shyla Rider all had three hits and drove in two runs.

Brianna Smith (9-7) got the win for the Bucs. She completed the game, despite allowing 15 base runners on eight hits and seven walks. She struck out six.

In the nightcap, Nikki Pallister belted a solo homer in the fourth inning for the only run of the game as the Knights won 1-0.

Amber Jack (18-9) took the loss for the Bucs, giving up seven hits and two walks in five innings of work. The game was called after the top of the sixth due to darkness.
