Women's Soccer Drops Hard-Fought Contest To West Florida
Emily Pratt made seven saves in her first start in goal.
MIAMI SHORES, Fla.—The Barry Buccaneers dropped a hard-fought 2-0 decision to the second-ranked West Florida Argonauts on Friday night at Buccaneer Field.
 
The Argonauts (8-0-0) struck in the 24th minute as Shakira Duncan tapped in a rebound from a Shaneka Gordon shot and added an insurance goal in the 64th minute on a penalty kick by Dernelle Mascall.
 
Emily Pratt, making her first start in goal for the Bucs (2-6-0), had seven saves. Courtney Jones stopped two shots for the Argos.
 
The Bucs return to action on Tuesday, Sept. 29 at 7:00 pm when they host the Lynn Knights.
