MIAMI SHORES, Fla.—The Barry Buccaneers continued their winning ways with a 6-0 demolition of Johnson & Wales in men’s soccer action at Buccaneer Field on Monday night. The win was the fifth in a row for the Bucs and they have out-scored their opponents 19-1 during the streak.

The Bucs got just one goal in the first half when Joe Conkleton and Alvaro Yusty fed Randy Taylor just outside the 18-yard box and Taylor blasted it in of the outstretched arms of Wildcat keeper Sky Briscoe in the 33rd minute.

The flood gates opened in the second half as the Bucs (9-4-1) put five more on the board. In the 52nd minute, Mark Kilpatrick found Mark Anderson at the top of the penalty box and Anderson’s shot kissed the crossbar on the way in the goal.

Two minutes later, Taylor stole a clearance at the top of the box and fed Kilpatrick for a one-on-one chance with Briscoe and Kilpatrick won the duel.

Yusty scored the first of two straight goals in the 58th minute. Kendall Sealy took a throw in and zipped around the defender to feed Yusty at the top of the six-yard box.

Yusty connected again in the 80th minute with an assist from Marc Rafols, while Juan Mantilla closed out the scoring in the 84th minute with an assist from Gerardo Sabat.

Daniel Walsh collected his second shutout of the season, making four saves for the Bucs. Briscoe kept the game from getting any further out of hand by making 11 saves for the Wildcats.
