NICEVILLE, Fla.—The Barry men’s basketball dropped their season opener to the West Alabama Tigers 77-46 at the Community Service Center on the campus of Northwest Florida State College in the SSC/GSC Crossover Challenge on Friday.
The Bucs (0-1) trailed by 11 at the half, but cold shooting, just 23.1 percent in the second period, let the Tigers (1-0) build a big lead and coast to the win.
Chad Renfro led the Bucs with 12 points, while Evan White added 10. Jared Woolfolk led four Tigers in double-figures with 20 points.
