WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.—The Barry Buccaneers used a balanced attack to sink the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish 65-50 in Rubin Arena on Wednesday night’s women’s basketball action.
Alexandria Zamora led the Bucs (4-3) with 12 points as the only player in double figures, but four others scored eight and three more had six points.
The Bucs hit 54.2 percent from the floor in the second half and 42.9 percent for the game. They out-rebounded the ‘Fish by 10, 42-32 and had just 13 turnovers.
Haley Fields led four Sailfish (4-6) in double figures with 13 off the bench. Lynsey Poole and Jordan Kong each had 11 and Ashley Dolberry added 10.
The Bucs are off now through exam week, but will travel to the Florida Memorial Lions on Dec. 17.
