BOCA RATON, Fla. – Barry University’s baseball team was forced to cancel the final two games of the series against Lynn University over the weekend due to rain.
The doubleheader which was canceled Saturday was scheduled to resume Sunday, but a series of storms resulted in poor field conditions and the teams were forced to cancel.
Barry dropped the first game to the Fighting Knights, 5-1. The Buc’s focus now shifts to St. Thomas University when they’ll make the short trip to Miami Gardens before returning to Feinbloom Field for the final home series of the 2012 season.
Tuesday’s game against St. Thomas is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. with live-stat and live video coverage available through Barry University’s website, GOBARRYBUCS.COM.
