Women's Tennis Moves to Region Title with Forfeit Win

MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Barry University's No. 2-ranked women's tennis team moved onto the South Region-1 championship with a forfeit win over Tuskegee Tuesday.

Tuskegee (12-14) opted not to play the match, giving the Buccaneers (23-0) the automatic win.

In the other semifinal, Saint Leo beat Rollins, 5-0.

Barry will play Saint Leo (18-7) at 2 p.m. Wednesday for the region championship. The winner will advance to Louisville for the Round of 16 at the NCAA Division II Championships site May 16-19.
