MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Barry University men's tennis team is ranked No. 4 in the NCAA Division II Intercollegiate Tennis Association national preseason poll.
Armstrong Atlantic is No. 1, West Florida is No. 2 and Lynn No. 3. Hawai'i Pacific is No. 5. Five Sunshine State Conference teams were ranked in the top 25.
Barry's Marco Mokrzycki is ranked No. 7 in singles. Teammate Fabian Groetsch is No. 16. Armstrong's Georgi Rumenov is the top-ranked singles player.
Mokrzycki and Groetsch are the No. 2-ranked doubles team in the country. Rumenov and Dan Regan from Armstrong are the top-ranked pairs team. Barry's German duo won the ITA South Region championships in late September
