DECATUR, Ala.—The Barry Buccaneers fell 5-1 to the host Alabama-Huntsville Chargers on Saturday at the UAH Charger Chillout at Wilson Morgan Park in Decatur, Ala.

The Chargers (6-2) scored four runs in the seventh inning to break a 1-1 deadlock. Kathryn Whitlock knocked in the game-winner with a double and Brianna Sullivan capped the inning with a two-run double.

The Bucs (5-5) struck first in the opening frame off Charger starter Whitney Toler (2-0). Natalia Ojeda singled to start the game and came around two outs later on a single by Julie Brito.

UAH tied the game at 1-1 in the third inning on a two-out RBI single from Whitlock.

Toler scattered six Barry hits and struck out two without allowing a walk to pick up the win. Alexis Yohe (2-2) took the loss for the Bucs. She allowed three runs on six hits, walked three and struck out four in 6.1 innings.

The Bucs nightcap with North Georgia was cancelled due to sub-freezing temperatures. Barry concludes the tournament with games on Sunday against West Georgia and Lander.
