MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – Boban Rankovic was named acting head coach of Barry University’s rowing crew.

The Buccaneers won team titles at the Dad Vail Regatta, Knecht Cup, Sunshine State Conference Championships and Florida Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships last season.

Rankovic coached the Varsity 4 crew to a title at the Knecht Cup and FIRA Championships and runner-up finishes at the NCAA Championships, Dad Vail and SSC Championships in 2012. Barry has qualified for the NCAA Championships in both of Rankovic’s first two years with the university.
